As a Professional Blue Badge Tour Guide I love welcoming people to London.
We have a great culture and history, a diverse art scene, plenty of green spaces & river walks, and some of the best food in the world.
There are hundreds of reasons to come to one of the world’s most vibrant cities and I'll help you get the best out of your visit.
If you're looking for an introduction to the city, then how about a Highlights tour taking in some of the key sights including Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, the Guard Change, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, London Eye and the Tower of London.
If you'd like to delve into some of our wonderful museums & galleries (many of which are free) then let me introduce you to the best from each collection (& the quirky stuff too).
Although it's a big city, London really is best explored on foot, so maybe you'd like to get to know a specific area - literary Bloomsbury, elegant St James or vibrant Soho.
If you prefer to do something less mainstream, we can head off the beaten track and explore London's less well known quarters.
Of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg, there are many world-class attractions, over 200 museums & galleries, fabulous Royal parks and plenty of markets to discover.
I'm very happy to do half or full day tours (or things inbetween).
If you've seen a fair chunk of London, and you don't mind getting on a train, then I’m equally happy heading out of town to some of the other great places in the South East including Windsor, Stratford, Oxford & Bath.
So how about some of the following ideas?
Castles & Royal Palaces - tours of Kensington Palace; Hampton Court; Tower of London; Windsor Castle.
Museums - Guided tours of the British Museum; Churchill War Rooms; Imperial War Museum; Natural History Museum; London Transport Museum; Royal Mews; Science Museum; V&A.
Galleries - Highlights tours of the National Gallery; National Portrait Gallery; Tate Britain; Wallace Collection.
Churches & Cathedrals - St Paul's Cathedral; Westminster Abbey.
Literature - Dickens London; Literary Bloomsbury; Shakespeare's London.
Royalty - Changing of the Guard Ceremony; Royal London; Royal Parks.
Walking Tours - Bloomsbury; Chelsea; City of London; Clerkenwell; Covent Garden; East End; Greenwich; Mayfair; Royal London; South Bank; St James; Soho; Spitalfields; Wapping; Westminster.

If you haven't found what you're looking for, get in touch anyway - as I can happily tailor tours to suit your specific requirements.
As a fully qualified Blue Badge Guide, I'm a Member of the Institute of Tourist Guiding (ITG), the British Guild of Tourist Guides and the Association of Professional Tourist Guides (APTG).
If you want to know what I did before I took to the streets of London, I was a journalist and editor.
