About Your Trip:
I take pride in tailoring every tour to every guest’s personal preferences, interests and needs, and specialise in tours for individuals, couples, families & small groups.
My particular guiding ethos is to look after my guests “as if they were my own family”; to ensure guests get the maximum from their visit; to experience the best London & the UK has to offer, & to make the trip as special & memorable as possible…

About Your Guide:

• My 15-year+ background in travel journalism taught me what travellers what, where to find it, & how to extract the best from a city & country… Engaging dozens of guides myself, I've also learnt the value & importance of finding a great guide!
• As a journalist, I've also learnt how to craft a good story; and as a writer, how to bring a place, person, and event to life through words & images!
• Armed with qualifications ranging from history, art & architecture; to politics, economics & literature - plus languages, photography, wine tasting & even mountaineering & scuba-diving! - I feel equipped for most tours both in & out of London!
• Travelling in nearly 100 countries during my career as a travel journalist, & studying around 10 languages,  I've also acquired an international perspective, and, key to me, common ground,  empathy & the ability to relate with people of all races, creeds and nationalities. I can’t wait to welcome you  to London & the UK & share these amazing places!

I offer tours of all of London’s major sites, as well as walking tours of the City's diverse districts, as well as themed or special-interest tours - just ask! - as well as exploration of hidden gems and secret surprises! I look forward to welcoming you!

About My Qualifications:
I have a BA Hons degree in Latin (subjects include: Roman history, archaeology, art, language & literature) from London University; an MA in History (in prog) from SOAS, University of London; DUEFE (Diplôme Universitaire D’Etudes Françaises et Européennes), University of Lille (French & European history, politics, economics & culture in French); a Diploma in Art History (in prog); WSET Certificate & Higher Certificates in wine tasting; an LRPS (Licentiate of the Royal Photographical Society, London, & FRGS (Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, where I've also lectured about my travels).
