I'm a born-and-bred Londoner who still gazes in awe at the spectacular buildings, history and views this city has to offer. I pinch myself every time I see Nelson's Column and Westminster Abbey because I can't believe I'm lucky enough to live here.
As a national newspaper journalist for over 25 years, I've had a ringside seat in the making of history. From shivering in Downing Street waiting for Prime Ministers to appear to standing on the battlements of Parliament watching royal funerals, I can give you the inside track on major events.
