Hello and many thanks for visiting my profile. I’m Gavin and I have made London my home for the past 25 years. I love London and all that it has to offer. The hustle and bustle, its history, its arts and culture with its many free museums as well as its beautiful abundant green open spaces. It truly is the best city in the world, and I think you will love exploring it with me and return home with some treasured memories of exploring parts of the city you might otherwise have missed.
I am a fully qualified London Blue Badge Tourist Guide with an in-depth knowledge of the city, and I am a huge music and sports fan. I am also an in-house guide at Twickenham Rugby Stadium.
Some of my favourite places to go and explore in London include: the Tower of London,( home of the Crown Jewels and home to stories of historical prisoners and executions) Westminster Abbey, (so much history) St Pauls Cathedral ( with its magnificent dome), London’s old East End (home to many immigrant communities throughout the centuries alongside the West End ( with its Theatres and Pubs). These are just a few of my favourites, there is so much more to explore!
I now live in Richmond upon Thames, Ted Lasso country, and have also spent time living abroad including in America – Beofre guiding I worked in Social Housing so have a deep appreciation of the different types of housing we have across this wonderful city.
