Bex Couper

Hi, I'm Bex and I'm a qualified Blue Badge Guide and City of London Guide, who enjoys unveiling London’s hidden gems and secret corners to visitors. With an insider’s knowledge and a love for storytelling, I relish in leading visitors beyond the typical tourist routes, revealing the lesser-known layers of the city’s vibrant history.
Before guiding I worked as a BBC Journalist with a stint as an Arts reporter which gave me access to interview Hollywood A-listers, acclaimed British theatre stars, and Turner Prize-winning artists, often on the red carpet at some of the nation’s most celebrated cultural events.
As a former civil servant my former communication roles afforded rare access to Whitehall’s iconic buildings, including the illustrious No. 10 Downing Street, bringing a unique perspective to my tours.
I grew up in South London, had a spell in Stratford upon Avon before heading back to the big city. Today, home is East London - close to the magic of Spitalfields and the delights of Brick Lane.
I am a versatile London Blue Badge Tourist Guide, ready to lead tours for individuals, couples, families, and groups of all ages and interests. London is dynamic and offers something for everyone, whatever your budget.
With more than 2,000 years of history, London can be overwhelming—let me help you discover its highlights. I’m flexible, happy to tailor each tour or itinerary to your preferences, and always ready with suggestions to match your interests.
Fully trained, insured, and professionally qualified, I can guide you through London’s top sites, museums, attractions, and religious spaces—as well as further afield to destinations like Windsor Castle, Sissinghurst, Hever Castle and other delights in Kent.
If it’s your first time in London, a half-day tour might start in Westminster, home to Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, St James’s Park (see the Changing of the Guard), Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, and world-famous spots like Westminster Abbey or the Churchill War Rooms.
Don’t miss the British Museum, the UK’s most-visited, featuring treasures from the Egyptian Mummies and Rosetta Stone to the Parthenon Marbles and unique modern objects. With over 70,000 items on display, I’ll make sure you see the essentials and enjoy a memorable, tailored experience.
