Jeanie Carmichael
For 25 years I have enjoyed guiding a variety of guests, both individuals and groups, mainly in London but also in the UK, Eire and Europe. I am proud to have won the BITOA award for Guide of the Year. I have conducted a number of special interest groups, from literary and gardens to orchestras and teddy bear collectors. I like to work with guests of all nationalities and ages, but especially enjoy working with the elderly and students. I have also worked extensively on incentive and conference events, and regularly help to organize programmes of visits for large groups of theatre lovers. I look forward to welcoming you to London! My interests are British history and art, theatre, travel and fine food and wine. I am particularly interested in the Tudor period. I am a qualified Somerset House guide, and also have a degree from the Institute of Gemmologists as I am fascinated by jewels! I also specialize in walking tours off the beaten track, exploring London's hidden corners.
