Mark Moreton
I am a born and bred Londoner. I worked in Fleet Street printing National Newspapers. In 2002 I completed the Knowledge of London to become a licensed London Black Cab Driver.
In 2014 I took a course with the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers to become a taxi guide and went on to become a Freeman of the City of London. This fuelled my love of our Capital City and history so I went on to become a Clerkenwell & Islington Walking Tour Guide and finally a Blue Badge Guide.
I enjoy touring and sharing my knowledge of wonderful London and the surrounding areas such as Windsor Castle, Oxford, Bath, the Cotswolds and Stonehenge to name but a few. As a qualified Blue Badge Guide I am also able to tour in historic sites such as Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, the Churchill War Rooms and St Paul’s Cathedral.
I offer tours on foot or in my Electric London Black Cab, whichever the Client would prefer. The Cab has the benefit of being wheelchair accessible and has a panoramic glass roof. I also have experience of guiding for coach parties. I am very flexible and tours can be bespoke and tailored to meet any individuals needs and interests.
