Ollie Ford

Hello! I was born in Guy's Hospital (as were both my parents) which is by London Bridge Station. I still live in South London, two miles away from where I was born - I have never left.
London is a part of me and I love it with all my heart. I trained as an actor and worked well for over ten years as one, but I did do guiding on the side. I really enjoyed it, and decided after a time - it was guiding I should focus on, bringing my skills as a performer to use, so as to bring the stories I tell to life. It was the best decision - now I do what I love every day.
All aspects of the job are fantastic, making the very best time for people on their holiday or special occasion. It could be showing people the sights of Westminster or walking the square mile of the City. Westminster Abbey is a winner as is the great Tower of London. St Paul's Cathedral is the most beautiful and moving place to visit. I enjoy guiding on bikes, boats, coaches, cars and most of all - foot. I give a passionate WW2 and Churchill Tour, which can take us down to the Churchill War Rooms. I am an exhibited artist and so relish guiding both the National Gallery and the Tate Britain but also the Street Art of Shoreditch. On every corner there is a story...
My great passion is Rock n Roll and in particular- The Beatles. Their story is a magical one, which I have studied and read about all my adult life. It is a tour I will never not want to give. I can also show you the very best vinyl shops as well as the greatest guitar shops, just please don't let me buy another one...
I live my life in fear of being bored. I will always give tours that entertain, inform and keep everyone in the group, regardless of their age - happy. It's my mission.
Fortunately, there is never a dull moment in this very special town.
A splendid time is guaranteed for all...

Ollie was perfect! He gave us so much insight and tons of fun.
Oliver is oozing with personality, enthusiasm and excitement. Our son loved the tour and connected well with Oliver!
The tour with Ollie is a must! Super fun and informative, one of our favorite points in our whole trip. We learned a ton and got to see major points of interest throughout the Beatles’ careers. Absolutely a wonderful time. Cannot recommend high enough. Book it!
Oliver was a fabulous tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and delivered his knowledge in a charming and humorous way. Born and raised in London, Oliver had much to say about history and life today. We enjoyed our tour so much. Thank you, Oliver!
7 childhood friends went to London and Normandy on holiday, interested in learning about WW2 -- luckily our concierge at the Savoy introduced us to Ollie-- who guided us through the streets and history of London and in and around the Churchill war room. He was hilarious, full of great stories about Churchill and the War and London's rich history and lore... We wanted to take him with us everywhere we went after that... Truly a great personality and fun to be around.
