Hi, I'm Debs, a London Blue Badge Guide and a Londoner born and bred.

I was a secondary school history teacher that's swapped the classroom for the sites and streets of London. I love nothing more than to show this beautiful city to both visitors and locals. For me it is about getting out there and introducing people to all sorts of different aspects of London in a friendly, good natured, informed and engaging way.

I myself have travelled widely and have lived in the US and in Asia. I understand how important it is to get the most out of your trip whether you are traveling on your own, as a couple, in a group or as a family. With one of my tours I will ensure you get the very best out of your experience.

London and its immediate surroundings have so much to offer. If you want to focus on locations such as Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, the Changing of the Guard, the National Gallery or the Tower of London great, these are incredible places, and I would love to show them to you.

Alternatively, you might want something a bit different, to explore hidden alleyways and discover some of London's secret spots and stories to go with them in places like Mayfair, Covent Garden, Southbank, Shoreditch and the East End, I can also do that for you.

Depending on what you want to see we can travel on foot or use public transport to get around the City, however there is the option of a panoramic tour by coach or private hire vehicle. We could combine seeing the major sights of the City with a trip further afield to Windsor Castle, the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world, or to Hampton Court and follow in the footsteps of King Henry VIII and his six wives.

I visited St Paul’s Cathedral, London in June this year with my sister and was absolutely enthralled with the beauty and history of this magnificent, iconic landmark. The visit was made very memorable, due to the very special and informative guide, Deborah who went to every effort to make our visit comfortable as well as fascinating. Deborah was very patient with our constant bombardment of questions and gave us ample time to stop and rest at strategic places. This was appreciated as my sister was struggling with the steps at one point. 
I loved that Deborah seemed to be quintessentially British and her love of history and art was infectious. I learnt so much through her enthusiasm that it inspired me to want to visit more landmarks in London. I hope that I might be lucky enough to have Deborah Muir as my guide next time.

The tour around the Tower of London with Deborah was a really good experience. She is very knowledgeable and took time to explain lots of interesting facts that I wasn’t aware of even though I had visited the Tower before. She made sure we all had plenty of time to view everything and ask as many questions we wanted. All in all a very memorable experience.
