Tony Hall
I am always pleased when I am presented with the opportunity to guide groups (small or large) around the sites of London. I know I am privileged to visit the main sites regularly with clients and I am particularly pleased to help clients understand them and their function.
Within London my essential London series of half-day must-dos that you should experience would be Westminster Abbey, The Tower of London (which would include the Crown Jewels) and St. Paul's Cathedral (each being well worth a full half-day of exploration). I’d also suggest a whole morning (or longer if you want to go slightly wider afield) walking around the Westminster / St James’s area including, on the days it is available, Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace.
Other London based walking suggestions would include a day at Greenwich or a morning in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park – initially created for the 2012 London Olympics and Paralympics.
For whole day trips from London, I'd suggest days either Windsor Castle or Hampton Court (both are close-ish to London but with so much see and some travelling time, just a bit far to be fully appreciated in half-a-day). Another (a longer day still given the distance involved) would be Bath and Stonehenge.
I like to consider myself flexible and focused upon ensuring whatever we do together, matches your requirements. Please, just let me know what you want to do and what you would like to see and I'll be pleased to try to help.
Personally I enjoy the theatre (theater) - particularly - Shakespeare and Gilbert & Sullivan. I am keen on my sport too, still working from time to time as a qualified ski instructor (during European winter) and now an organiser (though I used to play regularly) of football (you might call it soccer) and a keen supporter of West Ham United.
I look forward to meeting and working with you.
