Christmas at Kew 2014: A Glittering New Trail

An activity to consider with the family this festive season is Christmas at Kew. Guides by snowflakes, you follow a new one-mile glitter trail as it winds its way through the world-famous botanic gardens in a magical after dark experience.

This year you’ll find: giant light sculptures, a garden of fire, a tunnel of lights, sparkling giant snowflakes, Santa’s snowflake grotto and much more, making it the perfect Christmas experience. There will be a Victorian carousel, family rides and an outdoor adventure playground. The trail is very popular and entry is time by ticket, so it is important to book well in advance. Visits are timed at 30-minute intervals from 5pm until 8pm and the last session starts at 8:15pm. The trail is open until 3 January, but closed on 1,2,8,9,15,16,24 and 25 December.
