Hello and welcome to my London - one of the most beautiful and most visited cities in the world!
This is a multicultural city which has plenty to offer the visitor and my role as a Blue Badge London Tourist guide is to ensure that you get the most out of your day with me!
I have a great interest in my heritage and have put together a number of Black History tours. Among the tours I cover there are the City of London and its development and dependency on black labour; Westminster and the black personalities involved in the government institutions; Notting Hill and what made it the second area outside of Brixton to host members of the ‘Windrush’ generation. These tours are compatible with the new GCSE History curriculum.
Organising and tailoring tours for small and large groups alike as well as for families, is a speciality of mine and being a former college lecturer, I am accustomed to working with students of all ages.
I also offer general tours in London; come with me and I will show you the London of Royalty, Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace, Changing of the Guard and the church of royalty, Westminster Abbey. The seat of government, the Houses of Parliament and Parliament Square where the statues of Winston Church, Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Ghandi are a must see!
