Born London 1956. Childhood in India, Sri Lanka and Singapore; "boarding school" in Sussex.
Worked in Paris for 3 years, then BA Business Law, London. Set up "Circa antiques" (shop in Antiquarius, King's Road, Chelsea), dealing in early English wood carvings and "collectables".
Started work in the tourist industry in 1982; qualified as a Blue Badge guide in 1986, been at it ever since!
Worked for 30+ years as a "Driver-Guide", covering all of Britain & France. Now I just do walking tours. I've had clients from over 40 different countries, from a Nobel Peace prize winner to honeymoon couples and families. Wide ranging experience of itinerary planning and recommending suitable hotels. Special interest tours and antique hunting trips.
Married with a daughter born 1992, now living in Australia. I live in Kent, just 15 minutes from the Channel Tunnel and 36 minutes by High Speed 1 from Central London. I regularly commute to London to start tours.
