I have been working in the travel industry for over 30 years, starting as a Tour Manager, delivering tours of Europe in the early 1980’s followed by many years working as a Flight Attendant for a major British airline. I have always had a great passion for history and culture, resulting in my return to guiding. I did my first guiding qualification as a Green Badge Guide for the city of Oxford in 2005. I qualified as a Blue Badge Guide for the Heart of England region in 2016 and as a London Blue Badge Guide in 2021. I love bringing history to life for my guests and entertaining them with stories and anecdotes about all the fascinating people and places that make London into such a fascinating city. I particularly enjoy taking people on walking tours exploring London's different districts like the City of London, Westminster, Covent Garden and Theatre Land, Bloomsbury, Kensington and Southwark and visiting London's key attractions including the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and St Paul's Cathedral. I also offer themed tours on Harry Potter in London and London in the Movies tours. As well as London, I work extensively in Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds and can offer walking tours of Oxford with its famous university, Stratford-upon-Avon and also small group tours to the Cotswolds in my 12-seater minibus. I have extensive experience in customer service and pride myself in putting my customers at the heart of everything I do. When I'm not guiding I sing and play drums in a band and enjoy musical theatre!
