I’ve been guiding for 10 years before which I worked in the Health Services of both the UK and Australia. Having travelled extensively in Europe, Iran, Afghanistan and India, I’m still fascinated by the history, culture and food of other countries and love showing off the best of London and the UK to anyone travelling here. I’m especially interested in gardens, art, shopping, food and the royal family – not only the present royals but the way the last thousand years of monarchy has shaped our customs and architecture. Being a Parliament guide, I’m always up to date with politics and current affairs. I love the way London changes, spreads its boundaries and has an individual feel in every area, both old and new. Outside London, I particularly like guiding at Greenwich, Hampton Court, Windsor, Oxford and Blenheim. I mostly work with couples, families and small groups – using either public transport or a private car - I have good contacts with experienced chauffeurs and with small coach companies for larger groups.
